THE FOUR STAGE OF NETWORK MARKETING

THE NETWORK MARKETING

Hi everyone, this post is going to be a short and sweet one.  Today i am going to introduce you to the four (4) stages of a networker in his career.  There is two (2) good one and two (2) bad one.  You will be able to find here which are good and which are bad and why do you need to keep going with the two (2) first one.

THE CREATIVE STAGE

As this title is saying, the creative stage is when you do something.  This is the stage where your business will fly sky-high and never come back down.  In this mindset, you are doing actions over actions over actions like building your list, making calls, or that you gonna do home business parties.  In every MLM companies that you can be in, you have something to sell.  As you can see here i didn’t say “share” and there is a reason why! Go see my other post here if you want to know why.  Sorry for this one, so in every company you have a product or service that will grant you money when it will be sold.  So the creative stage is when and where the money is!!! When you present your product, service or opportunity to people, you have more chance that they buy what you have or to join you in your journey.

THE MANAGEMENT STAGE

This stage here is very tricky for every networker that I know, and as fast as your business is growing, as fast as you will be incline to fall into this stage.  Not that it’s a dangerous stage but, if I can propose you something, go back as fast as possible to the creative stage because you might stall your growth if you stay here for a too long period of time.  But let me describe you what is in this stage and what mindset you absolutly need to avoid here.

Did you have any questions to answer like, let’s say that you are in a weightloss company, what are the ingreadiant in your shake, or if I have this illness can I take your product?  If yes and if you start to answer every questions, you were in the management mode.  Not that it’s bad to answer everyone but if you take to much time to do that, it’s impossible to keep going in your team.

THE DEFEND STAGE

As it is saying by itselg, this stage is all about defending yourself, your company, product, upline, downline, etc… Well that is a critical stage and if you are here get out of it as soon as possible.  Why? Cause it’s in this stage that friendship are broken, that couple can split, that job can be lost, and hopefully not, that might bring you in to the next stage from where you usually will never come back. In the humain nature, people don’t feel good about pressure and attacks and even less about people that always defend themselves.  When you are in “defend mode” everything that people will tell you will turn into a drama.  They will ask you, what it seem for them, a simple question and you will react to it like if they were attacking you.

Try to stay calm and take a deep breathe

See, if you stay in the creative mode,  every questions, every objections, every arrogant commentaries that people will make, will go right through you like if it was a hot knife in a brick of butter.  In a creative state of mind, we are sorting, nothing more.  “You have no interest, fine” NEXT!!!  No harm, no regrets, no friendship or couple breaking up!  If you can keep this state and not starting to defend yourself in each point and questions that people will bring you, they will feel no resistance from your side and might change their mind after a while.  But if you fall in “Defend” they will perceive it like an assault back to them and will never want to hear it again from you.  Best advice?  If you see yourself in what i’m talking about right now  contact your up-line as soon as possible to try to get out of there as fast as you can.  And if your up-line don’t know what to do, i’m here to help fill-up the little form on the side and i will give you 30 minutes (or maybe a bit more) of my time to help you as much as I can!

THE BLAME STAGE

Oh My God!!! This stage can be reduce to one word: QUIT!  This is where people click off, quit and never come back.  This is where you will hear yourself, up-line or down-line say: It’s my up-line fault, cause they don’t help me. It’s my down-line’s fault cause they don’t do nothing.  It’s this leader’s fault cause he said something people didn’t not liked. It’s the weather fault, not enough sun.  It’s school fault, it’s holiday’s fault, and the list is infinite.  People will give you a million reasons on why it is not working.

Please look at yourself in the mirror first

And here I don’t want to insult anyone.  But if you are in that stage, please take a close look at what you’ve done since you are in this profession.  If you look at any of the above reasons to quit, you will notice that usually people that say them will replicate them. Ex: “It’s my down-line’s fault, they are not doing anything.” Euhhh how many people did you sponsored last month?  Even less hard then that! How many people did you talk last month?  People will answer usually none at those questions.  This is one of my friend David Wood that made me realize this.  If you are not sposoring the number of people that you wants, that you are not building the team that you want and that you don’t have the income that you dream, YOU ARE THE ISSUE!

At first I didn’t realize it and it took me like 12 times to hear it before I stud up in front of the mirror and asked myself about this: What the hell am I doing wrong?  Yep! Everything was coming from me.

Show me your calendar and i will predict your results

And i start to look at me, what I was doing to build-up this profession, MY profession!  The one that I need to be proud of cause like my friend Eric Worre would say: “We have a better way.”  So here you need to do two things to make it better.  The first one, learn it and the second one, do it! Looking easy right? Well a lot of people will do the first one and not the second one.  It’s like if you were playing in a professional hockey team, that you were going to every practice but that you would never show-up and step-up in a single game of your career.  The money is in the “DOING IT” part 😉 remember that!  I know sometime it will be hard, your ego will get in the way, you will be shy, sick, tormented, scared, but to succeed in this profession you need to be ready to be judge by people that have a lack of knowledge.  Now after that you have understood this, get back to stage one!  Fill up your calendar with lucrative activities (prospection, calls, follow-up, training new members, 3 way calls, etc), fill an other part of it with leaning part (book reading, personal growth session, workout, personal growth CD or DVD listening time, etc..) so this way you can keep your mind full of good stuff.  Cause in life there is only two kind of things.  The good things and the other stuff.  Well I hope that will help you to grow in your business and remember, if you have any question go to the CONTACT section and ask me whatever you want and it will be my pleasure to answer you!

Bless and be blessed
